Agreement for
Installation of Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS) on Build, Own
and Operate (BOO) Basis.
The
proposed installation of the WHRS is meant for reducing the fuel
consumption in the oil fired boilers by utilizing waste heat of
furnace exhaust gases and to provide availability of steam to the
Beneficiary under all circumstances excepting force majeure
events.
The Transparent
shall design, manufacture, install, commission, operate and
maintain the WHRS consisting of a Waste Heat Recovery Steam Boiler
(hereinafter referred as WHRB) and other related accessories.
Specifications and Configuration of
the WHRS :

The WHRS will
be installed at the outlet of the glass melting furnace and the
steam generated from the WHRS will be consumed by the Asahi.

The WHRS shall
be equipped with all necessary automation and controls to
maintain the exhaust gas pressure at the inlet of the modulating
valves of the WHRS at 18 mm of WC with a tolerance of
+ 2 mm WC

The automation
and controls provided on the WHRS shall also be adequate for
safe and automatic operation of the WHRS.

The WHRS shall
be so configured that the glass furnace can operate irrespective
of whether the WHRS is operational or not.

Automatic
control system to regulate the quantity of steam genertion, when
the steam consumption is lower than potential generation.
Schedule for building the WHRS :

Dispatch the WHRS in suitable
lots and all the dispatches will be completed within 120 days
from the effective date of this agreement.

Dispatch of WHRS shall complete
the installation as well as commissioning of the WHRS within 180
days from the effective date of this Agreement.
