MOU Signed with Mahatashtra Energy Development Agency, (MEDA) for Multistage Evaporation Plants for Energy Saving in Juice Evaporation in Sugar Factories in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra Energy Development Agency, (MEDA) is a Government of Maharashtra undertaking situated at S. No. 191-A, MHADA COMMERCIAL COMPLEX, OPP. TRIDAL NAGAR, YERWADA, PUNE 411 006. Unique function of MEDA is to suggest and implement ways and means to improve energy-efficiency of various processes that consume energy as also to suggest and implement sustainable / improved methods of energy-generation / supply to the industries. MEDA also acts as a medium to actively promote innovative concepts, products and systems to the Industrial Energy Consumer.

Transparent have developed the technology for an innovative, energy-efficient design of multi-stage Sugarcane Juice Evaporator system, which is one among several energy-efficiency products / systems for which Transparent have developed technology. Transparent have already applied for Patent Rights vide application no. 147/MUM/2001 dtd. 9^th Feb, 2001 for a high efficiency energy conserving multi-stage evaporation cum feed concentrator for Sugar Industry. It is first of its kind seven stage sugarcane juice evaporator.

Transparent are technologically in a position to manufacture with superior technology of pilot plant.

MEDA published the tender notice on 2^nd February 2005 inviting technical and commercial bids for design, manufacture, supply, installation and successful commissioning a Multistage Sugarcane Juice Evaporation Plant with or without Thermo Compressor.
