Mr. A.U. Apte, Director, Transparent Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., Pune is been conferred with an honour as "Distinguished Alumini of IIT Mumbai", in its Golden Jubilee year. Mr. Ajit Apte has been chosen along with three others amongst about 1.5 lacs alumini of this prestigious technology institute if our country. Mr Ajit Apte (1992 passed out) completed his M.Tech in Energy Systems Engineering and has a distinguished career in design engineering and is been part of innovative energy plant equipments designing team of TESPL for last thirteen years. TESPL team very recently developed a technology for Cement Plant Heat Recovery which will boost energy conservation and electricity generation from waste heat in cement manufacturing enabling cement plants to earn carbon credit. TESPL has been granted an Indian patent for this technology.

Mr. Ajit Apte is also a certified Energy Auditor of Bureau Of Energy Efficiency (BEE), a steering Committee member of Green Cementech India 2008, an annual national conference on Cement Technology organized by Godrej Green Business Centre a Green Technology Promotional unit of CII.
