MEDA is a Govt. of Maharashtra Undertaking Agency established
for promotion of renewable energy sources. MEDA works to
promote, develop, non conventional, renewable and alternate
energy sources and technologies. It assist Govt. in renewable
energy programmes.
MEDA has declared Waste Heat Recovery Scheme so that the heat
which is generated in a process by way of fuel combustion or
chemical reaction and then "dumped" into environment, can be
reused for some useful and economic purpose. The high
temperature heat is available in many industries which can be
utilised for power generation. This is the cheapest, easiest,
and cleanest way to bridge the gap between demand and supply
of power. To encourage power generation from waste heat MEDA
has proposed to provide financial aid for preparation of
Detailed Project Report (DPR) to be prepared by the
consultancy organization / consultant empanelled with MEDA.
TESPL has been granted empanelment by MEDA to prepare DPR for
the organizations register with MEDA for financial assistance
of Rs. 1,00,000/- or 50% of the fees for DPR preparation
whichever is less.
TESPL has also received empanelment with BEE as an ESCO. With
this empanelment BEE has displayed TESPL details on their
website and TESPL will have opportunity to work for various
BEE projects on performance based shared savings basis. |
