Extremely high Evaporation
Efficiency of 13 kgs. of evaporation per kg motive steam. Therefore, for a typical 7500 TCD
capacity sugar mill, Transparent make Evaporation system will save
about 60-65 Tons of steam per hour, resulting in substantial
savings of bagasse, which can be used for manufacturing of
briquetted fuels or sellable power etc.

Since the steam requirements pf
evaporation system gets drastically reduced, the capital
investments and running cost of steam boilers will also get
reduced substantially.

Falling film design has very low
juice heating residence time, which minimize thermal degradation
of juice.

Continuous modulation of all
parameters and control on each stage. Due to this, plant is
capable for accepting reasonable variations in juice
concentration.

In order to achieve above
objectives, the pilot demonstration plant have following
constructional features :-

The plant will have 7-stage with
thermo-compressor driven by high pressure steam.

The plant will be fully automatic
with continuous modulation and control of all parameters of each
stage.

The plant will have online
measuring ad recording instruments for -
- Juice flow rate
- Juice temperature
in each stage. - Motive steam pressure and
temperature - Juice feed temperature
-
Additionally the plant will also
have safety measuring and indicating instruments for various
pressure and temperature conditions in the evaporator system.

The
plant is provided with necessary safety, alarm and trip
for different parameters like pressure, temperature, motor overcurrents, voltages etc.

The
plant will be provided with fully automatic diesel fired, Non-IBR,
instant steaming steam boiler of necessary capacity alongwith fuel
tank, water tank, water softener, steam piping etc.

The
plant will also be provided with packaged cooling tower needed for
last stage vapour condenser.

Suitable packaged water softener will be provided to take care of
water softening needs of boiler and cooling tower.

The
plant will be provided with condensate collection tank,
concentrate collection tank etc.
The
entire pilot plant can be quickly erected at sugar mill site for
continuous, un-interrupted, fully automatic operation like a mini
production facility. The plant can be offered to different sugar
mills on hire or on chargeable basis to cover various running
costs, as well as investment costs. |
