TESPL Business Plan for Cement Waste Heat Recovery Systems received award of US$5000 from Siemens Venture Capital, a business division of Siemens AG, Germany. TESPL along with Vision Earthcare Pvt. Ltd. and Kakatiya Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd. made it to the top firms winning US$5000 (about Rs. Two Lacs) each out of total 105 entries after two elimination rounds. Siemens Venture Capital will explore option of funding or setting up business collaborations with the winners.

The finalist were distinctly different in profile compared with winners at other plan competitions in India, such as Eureka hosted by IIT Mumbai, or TiE-ISB connect, hosted by the Indus Entrepreneurs and Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Firms at the Siemens Showcase were from three to twenty six years old, some with the sales over Rs. 1 crore but none backed by Venture Capitalists.

The difference can be also attributed to the competitions call for companies in sectors strategic to Siemens, growth in the market, such as Automation, Energy and Health care sectors. 

TESPL business plan in this competition was represented by Mr. Pankaj Raj, (Brach Manager) Mrs. Urmila Sharma (Asst. Vice President-Finance), Mr. Umeshchandra Dandagaval (Development- Microbiologist). All of them certainly deserve heartiest congratulations from entire TESPL Group.
